HANDS THAT DO NOT SEEE
HANDS THAT DO NOT SEE is an exhibition of affinities and dialogues among thirty photographs of hands that form part of the collection of Valérie and Vicenç Boned. Employing as its starting point a clear and simple theme, “Hands that do not see” serves as an excuse when translating and exploring on the wall latent associations between pieces and diverse authorships.
A mosaic of hands reconstructs the universe of Tagomago Collection, conferring visibility to the figure of private collector and the pleasure of collecting photographs. The exhibition brings together approximately fifteen photographers, among them Ignasi Abalí, Chico Bialas, Cristina de Middel, Alberto García-Alix, Jordi Gual, Kishin Shinoyama, Nick Veasey and Francesca Woodman. It is accompanied by a small photobook exhibition – the second component of Tagomago collection.
